Here's the collapsed aka before closet pic with Nathan lying on the floor to avoid an ass crack pic that was very likely:
And the lovely after:
Full of all our shiznit:
I am happy with the ease and the results, and dropping the extra $50 to buy the bigger kit. Plus, this was a great chance to get rid of some old clothes and discover this great red Gap top I forgot I had! I think I may still do some shifting of work vs. casual clothes, but other than that I think it turned out fabulous.
Nathan was obviously exhausted after working on it for about 3 hours......
The funny part is, neither one of us would admit that we probably could have just re-attached the old shelf. I think we both secretly wanted a better, more organized closet.

But your new closet looks amazing! Great job :)
Ooo... I'm jealous of your new closet organizer. I wish ours would collapse so we can do the same. Right now we have two white wire shelves like your old one. Unfortunately, even with ten tons of crap piled on there, it doesn't seem to want to budge. Maybe one day while FI is gone to work the whole thing could "collapse." All by itself, of course. ;)
The new closet organizer looks so good! I love the double rods on each side of the tower! Congrats on a job well done!
Your closet looks fantastic!!! I'm glad the Rubbermaid closet kit worked for you guys. :-)
Wow, it looks awesome Teresa! Spending the day organizing a closet - girl after mine own heart...
I love finding an item of clothes I haven't seen in awhile. It's time for me to do my summer/winter clothes swap in my closet and it's (not quite) like shopping for new stuff. Your closet looks great:)
This looks amazing!!! Wanna do mine? :)
